"I just received my first abu garica reel yesterday 12/03/24, im coming from using the tatula sv tw and the shimano slx dc as well as some of the cheaper lews (lfs) i can say this is the best looking reel ive ever scene its very pleasing to the eye, the reason i wanted this reel was for the drag power im use to 13-15 lbs of drag this puppy has 25lbs so i wanted this reel for flipping heavy cover. i cant speak any on the function but ill be sure to add my thoughts as soon as i can."

"I’ve used Abu Revos for awhile now and had great success with my Gen 4 models but I now have two gen 5 models that I’ve worked into the lineup and I’m starting to wonder about the internals. I’ve had cast control issues with both reels not having consistent adjustments and one just started grinding after I caught a 12 inch bass."

"Last week I purchased the Revo SX. I noticed this reel by its sharp looks. When I got home I walked out to a private pond for an analysis and testing. My first casts were great. The cast was landing About 35 to 40 feet. I tied on a soft 5in swim bait and the hook is all. I am astonished with its performance. I highly recommend this reel."
