"Wow what can I say about this one, I bought it as a back up reel for my Quantum Catalyst PT that I paid $149.99 for. This is no lie, The Catalyst PT is now my back up & I have not used it since I first used this reel!"

"I purchased this reel w/ the Wally Marshall trigger rod. I was expecting to cover more water in less time with this baitcaster. I would strongly recommend sticking w/ a spinning reel. I'm surprised Wally signed off on this reel for Crappie fishing. No distance, no accuracy and nothing smooth about it. I traded the combo in for a Basspro Bionic Blade rod and a Shimano Spirex reel."

"I've never used baitcasters before this one and it was great to learn on. The first time i took it out it backlashed every 10 casts or so. But, once i got the hang of it , it seemed as if i was casting 35+ yards, with no backlash at all!"
