Designed to withstand the rigors of trolling, the round Trolling Special Levelwind Reel features a rugged, lightweight graphite frame and a machined, anodized aluminum spool for corrosion resistance, durability and easy handling. The reel's cast control knob applies continuous friction to the end of the spool shaft, assisting the centrifugal brake system in maintaining correct spool speed and preventing backlashes, while an audible bait clicker alerts you when a fish strikes and begins to pull line form the spool. When the alarm sounds, the Trolling Special's multi-disc drag system gives you the leverage to take the fight to the fish, with large drag discs providing the smooth flow of line at any setting.

"its james i was having good thoughts about the rell for the price but it does not hold heavy braid i put it on a deep sea rod an casted it in my yard it would go out about 30 feetand the guide for the reel stade in one spot so it got tight and made a knot and i got mad as i tried to fix the knot would not come out cuz of the guide its a piece of junk."

"Snaggin Special is right. Used this reel last year in Missouri for snagging spoonbill on Lake of the Ozarks. Pulled in an 84 pounder with no problems. Won the local contest at Hiawatha Beach with this reel and rod combo. Looking to pick up another combo for this years fishing trip."

"I needed a better baitcasting reel for my 8ft MH Catmaxx rod. The Catmaxx reel does not have enough oomph for hard crankin'. I was lucky enough to get the last one at my local BPS. A co-worker of mine gave me a $25 Bass Pro gift card for Christmas and I used it to cover half of the price of the reel. I can't wait until spring to put this reel to the test."
