"I just bought and used this reel today. It has a very smooth operation and casts very well. I spooled it up
with some 37lb "big cat" braided line and made several casts out in to the lake. I did not catch anything today, so I cannot comment on that aspect yet. The drag works very well also, don't know why people are having the problems they are having, but this seems like a very well built reel. I will update once I hook the "big" one."

"This is a great reel. I wouldnt trade my abu garcias for it but has the same features. Caught mutiple catfish on has reel the past 2 weeks including a 40l flathead. Nothing ive caught on this reel has been under 15 lb and its doing great. THANKS BASS PRO!"
