These reels set an amazing new benchmark for quality and value -- compare these features! The gearbox rides on a 3-bearing system, backed up by our PowerLock instant anti-reverse, a rugged reinforced graphite frame and rotor, corrosion-resistant stainless steel components, smooth and reliable 6-disc drag system, and oversized line roller. Both the spool and the left/right fold-down handle are crafted of machined and anodized aluminum, for superior strength without added weight. All in all, this is the tightest performance package available at anywhere near this price. Prototypes were tested on a wide range of species, from bull reds to sailfish, without a single malfunction. For all-around performance in any saltwater situation, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better-handling reel OR a better value -- in fact, you won't!
